Sarah Greene

Belgian Sarah Greene graduated in 1998 with a Masters Degree from the University of Ghent in Asian Arts and Cultures. She founded Blue Lotus Gallery in 2007, originally to support local talent in varied media. Currently the gallery is focusing on photography only, expressing Hong Kong’s culture and identity through various exhibitions and book projects. Greene has been instrumental in launching the careers of Hong Kong's emerging photography talent such as Romain Jacquet-Lagrèze, Tugo Cheng and Christopher Button. The gallery also represents world renowned artist such as Fan Ho, Greg Girard and Ian Lambot. In 2022 Blue Lotus expanded with a publishing program creating a collection of visual stories related to Hong Kong and beyond.
