Annie Tsoi

ANNIE TSOI is the current Co-Head of the IP Department at Deacons. She has spent the past 30 years advising on strategic issues relating to intellectual property protection, enforcement and commercial exploitation, licensing and collaboration, technology development and improvement.

Next to leading a recognised legal team and practice, Annie is actively pursuing her passion as an art-curator based on what resonates with her Chinese culture and heritage. She has co-curated Hilde Mertens’ solo exhibitions and ink workshops showcasing Chinese Contemporary calligraphy. 

Annie’s way to give back is by sharing her IP expertise as a speaker at the BIP Asia Forum and served as Secretary General of AIPPI (2021-2023). Recognized as one of the "Influential Women in IP" in 2024 by WIPR, she has also been named among Asia’s Top 15 IP Lawyers and the World’s Top 250 Women in IP.
